First of all, thank you for testing our latest MVision platform. Guaranteed to be the fastest, the most stable and the most UI-friendly iteration to date, the newest MVision portal is always under heavy work and in order to achieve our goal, intense and efficient testing is extremely important.


Providing user feedback is much appreciated and in order to make the development cycle faster, the following procedure is recommended when a new bug or issue is discovered.


Requirements:

  • Google Chrome browser

  • MVision user

Assumptions:

  • A bug/issue has been discovered

  • You tried and replicated the bug/issue more than once

  • You have only one MVision v6 session opened in any of your running browsers



Step 1. Start a new Google Chrome tab and open MVision


Step 2. Go to the location where the issue is happening


Step 3. Right click anywhere on the browser tab (make sure that it is the one with MVision) and select “Inspect” from the menu

Step 4. Make sure the Inspector is opened in the browser tab

Step 5. Follow strictly the steps required to demonstrate the issue (optionally but preferred: you can also record a video)


Step 6. When done, go to the Network tab inside the Inspector, right click anywhere inside the Network tab and select “Save as HAR with Content”

Step 7. Send the HAR archive along with any other resources that you consider necessary.
